Megadeth, The Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel and more set to play Hammersonic Festival

On May 7, metalheads in Jakarta will go to church.

Brought by the promoter Revision Live, Hammersonic Festival, a festival that brings metal, deathcore and many other strains of rock music into the same stage, will return for its sixth iteration. The location of the festival has yet to be announced.

Megadeth, in their third time playing the city, will return, as will The Black Dahlia Murder.

The line-up also features acts by the band Earth Crisis, Whitechapel and Northlane. This exciting line-up will bring the turnout around the ballpark of 20,000 or more — I don't have the numbers with me, but that's the estimation for last year's turnout, as Rolling Stone Indonesia points out

Tickets can be bought through Revision Live's website. It costs IDR 300,000 (around SG$30) and the rates will go up on April 1 (IDR 400,000) and on May 1 (IDR 500,000).

What a church that's going to look like, huh?
