MEW: The Farewell Shows comes to Esplanade Theatre on 18 November as the Danish alt-rock legends bring their global send-off tour to Singapore.
Celebrating an extraordinary 30-year journey, the band — best known for their lush, dreamlike soundscapes and emotionally charged live shows — are playing their final shows together as original frontman Jonas Bjerre prepares to part ways with the group.

Formed in Copenhagen in 1995, Mew built a devoted fanbase of “Frengers” (a blend of "friends" and "strangers") with their genre-defying fusion of indie, progressive rock, and cinematic electronica. Albums like Frengers, And the Glass Handed Kites, and No More Stories... became cult favourites across the world, especially among fans who crave music that feels both intimate and infinite.
Now, fans in Singapore will have one last chance to hear those soaring vocals and haunting melodies live.
“This year marks the 30th anniversary of Mew! It’s been quite a journey, for which we will always be grateful,” shared the band. “For Jonas, this journey will be coming to an end… We look forward to all the shows this year, a final adventure with our buddy Jonas, and we hope to see a lot of Frengers out there!”
Expect a career-spanning setlist, stunning visuals, and the raw emotion that has defined their live performances for decades.
