Michael Kiwanuka has broken the three-year silence following his gorgeous 2016 album Love & Hate with 'Money', a collaborative single featuring like-minded countryman Tom Misch. 

The song is an unabashedly faithful throwback to the disco era, suffused as it is with a sublime warmth, hushed vocals, voluptuous swells of bass and an exquisite bounce. 

But for all its fun and levity, 'Money' carries a sombre message: That "all money lies"; that it "tries to ruin everything" and that it can "cause a man to cry".
