MINH bares his soul on his long awaited debut EP THANK GOD! IT DIDN’T WORK OUT. The record sees him really peel back the layers, giving listers a glimpse into the emotions that swell with the catalyst of heartbreak, loss and self discovery.

The five track record is a mini masterpiece that shows off the maturity the breakout talent really offers to the regional and global music scene. The true extent of authenticity that shines through on this album is embodied by the emotionally charged focus track 'Damaged'.
Written by MINH, Glenn Hopper and Cody Jon, and produced by Glenn Hopper and Michael Choi, the track serves up MINH's heart on a platter. Inspired from his own personal experience of heartbreak, it captures the emotional agony that plagued him after the end of a two year relationship that had become a part of who he was. Haunted by lingering memories, he channelled the experience into the track’s honest, reflective tone.

“I thought I was ready to move on,” MINH shares. “But when I started to entertain someone new, I realised I wasn’t. That moment, waking up next to someone new and being hit by memories of my ex, made me realise I was still deeply affected. It was painful, but it taught me to be more self-aware and more honest with myself.”
The EP opens with the raw melancholic prologue 'Damaged', taking listeners through each chapter with tracks like 'Out With Grace,' 'Thank God!,' 'What I Never Had,' and 'I Don’t Know' — trying to capture the full range of feelings that resuface when it comes to parting ways with someone you loved.
Each line resonates with listseners like a confession of the tough times that come with heartbreak. From the euphoric lull of 'Out With Grace,' hooking listeners for the journey of self discovery that lies ahead, to ‘What I Never Had’ co-written with producer Maribelle, that emerged from MINH’s writing camp with Concord Australia and the poignant final chapter on the album with the track 'I Don’t Know'.
“This EP captures my first heartbreak perfectly in five songs,” says MINH. “It’s a reintroduction for me as an artist. The music feels more confident now that I’ve really lived life.”
With THANK GOD! IT DIDN’T WORK OUT, MINH delivers more than just a debut — he offers an intimate journey through heartbreak, growth and self-discovery. Each track balances raw vulnerability with refined musicality, revealing an artist unafraid to confront his emotions while inviting listeners to reflect on their own experiences.
