There's a new player to rival Valve's Steam Deck.

At CES 2024 on 9 January (Tuesday), MSI announced the Claw, its new Windows-based gaming handheld.

Powered by Intel's new Meteor Lake Core Ultra processor, the Claw will also come with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and Intel Arc integrated graphics. Storage configuration can be upgraded to 1TB of SSD and it also includes a MicroSD card slot for additional storage.

According to MSI, the Claw will be able to play "AAA titles effortlessly." It has a 53Wh battery, offering an "impressive two-hour battery life under full workload conditions," a 7-inch FHD IPS display with 120Hz refresh, a cooling system with vents, and a weight of 675g (a lot heavier than its Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Legion Go rivals).

MSI Claw, priced between 699 USD and 799 USD, is scheduled for release in the first half of 2024.
