Nadine Lustre, 'Blue Room', 'Reroute', and more win at 71st FAMAS Awards

The winners of the 71st FAMAS Awards are here. 

Over the weekend, the 2023 edition of the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards took place at the Fiesta Pavilion of the Manila Hotel, celebrating a new lineup of filmmakers, directors, writers, sound designers, and more. 

Among the top winners of the evening is actress-singer Nadine Lustre, bagging the Best Actress award for her performance in the 2022 suspense titled, Greed. This comes as her second win in the category following her performance in the 2019 title, Never Not Love You. The 'Overgrown' singer also won the Face Of The Night award. 

While Jazz Nicolas and Mikey Amistoso won Best Musical Score for their work in Blue Room, and Alizen Andrade and Immanuel Verona won Best Sound for Reroute. The drama film Family Matters walked away with the most wins including the coveted Best Picture award, beating the likes of Deleter and Leonor Will Never Die.
