Naniwa Danshi are back and bolder than ever with the release of their 9th single, the double A-side ‘Asymmetry / Black Nightmare’, now streaming worldwide.
The new tracks flex the group's ever-evolving artistry and vocal power, offering fans two sides of their sonic identity.
‘Asymmetry’ delivers a sultry, dance-rock atmosphere, pulsing with mystery and emotion. The track also doubles as the theme song to Kazuya Ohashi’s new TV Asahi drama Revenge Spy!, adding a dramatic flair to the group leader’s latest on-screen role.
Meanwhile, ‘Black Nightmare’ turns up the heat with hypnotic beats, a dangerously catchy hook, and lyrics that cut deep. The track sets the tone for Kansai TV’s supernatural thriller LAUNDERING, starring member Joichiro Fujiwara.
Both songs are available on all major platforms including YouTube Music, Spotify, and Apple Music. A physical release is also out now, featuring bonus content and special editions, including an exclusive STARTO ENTERTAINMENT FAMILY CLUB.STORE version.
Naniwa Danshi are a 7-member group under STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, made up of Daigo Nishihata, Ryusei Onishi, Shunsuke Michieda, Kyohei Takahashi, Kento Nagao, Joichiro Fujiwara, and Kazuya Ohashi. They made their debut in 2021 via Storm Labels and have quickly become one of the leading acts in Japan’s vibrant idol scene.
