Just last week, NANO-MUGEN FES. announced that they were making a comeback with its first-ever international edition.
Set to take place on 24–25 May at Ecopark Ancol, the Jakarta leg of the festival was set to be headlined by Beck and Asian Kung-Fu Generation, alongside big names such as ELLEGARDEN, Quruli, Kana-Boon, Homecomings, and Regal Lily.
However, organisers have just announced that the festival's debut in Indonesia has sadly been cancelled. "We deeply regret the inconvenience this cancellation may cause to all those who were looking forward to the event," their statement reads. "The decision was made following careful monitoring and assessment of the situation up until the last possible moment."

"Despite extensive discussions and preparations undertaken in collaboration with local organizers and affiliated parties in Indonesia, after careful consideration of the various challenges currently present in Jakarta, we have concluded that it will be difficult to provide the environment we have promised to our fans and artists."
Promoters also clarified that all ticket holders will be fully refunded. "Further details regarding the refund procedure will be provided by the ticketing agency from which the tickets were purchased."
On a more positive note, NANO-MUGEN FES. 2025 in Yokohama, scheduled to be held at K-Arena Yokohama, on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1, 2025, will proceed as planned.
