NCT DREAM take their anniversary reflections on the road in the new music video for ‘The Sun’, a preview of their sixth studio album, DREAM AFTER DREAM.
Released on 20 October, the video follows the six members on a camper van trip, trading playful moments against a backdrop of open fields and an ocean sunset. As the group celebrate their 10th anniversary, its focus on shared experiences gives a personal setting to a song about growing up together.
The album’s opening track, ‘The Sun’ is a pop ballad built around emotive synthesisers and electric guitar. Its lyrics look back on a decade of pursuing dreams with one another’s support, drawing on the image of sunrise after a long night to express a promise to keep moving forward together. The video’s warm, expansive scenery accompanies that progression, connecting memories of their journey so far with the possibilities ahead.
DREAM AFTER DREAM arrives on 9 November at 6PM KST (5PM SGT). The 10-track record includes ‘The Sun’ and title track ‘Boogie Woogie’, with physical album pre-orders available here.
