NCT WISH are inviting fans into their digital world. The group released their fourth mini-album I SPY on 12 October, alongside a music video for its title track. Arriving six months after their first full-length album, Ode to Love, the six-track project explores dance-pop, hip-hop, and R&B.

Built around a heavy 808 bassline, layered synths, and shifting arrangements, ‘I SPY’ channels the curiosity that comes with falling for someone. Its recurring hook captures the urge to learn everything about a person and draw them closer.

The accompanying music video takes that premise into WISH LAND, a virtual world where the members invite their fans, WISHzen, to join a search for the stars they wish for. Their adventure brings them closer to their fans as they discover new sides of themselves and explore what love means.

Across the B-sides, ‘We Own This Street’ pairs hip-hop beats with atmospheric textures, while ‘UPGRADE’ turns to electronic sounds for a song about pushing beyond boundaries. ‘Super Major’ offers bright, encouraging pop, and ‘Hubble Time’ uses groovy R&B to frame love on a cosmic scale.

Closing track ‘Like A Dream’ samples the Carpenters’ ‘(They Long to Be) Close to You’, combining dreamy instrumentation with lyrics about treasured memories.

Ahead of the release, NCT WISH introduced the project at I SPY YOU, a fan event held at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on 10 and 11 October. The three shows drew 11,400 fans and featured the first live performance of ‘I SPY’, alongside previews of ‘We Own This Street’ and ‘UPGRADE’.

The group also announced their second concert tour, NCT WISH 2nd CONCERT TOUR ‘INTO THE WISH : Face Our WISH’. It will open with two shows at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on 15 and 16 January 2027, following their encore concerts at KSPO DOME earlier this year.
