There's nothing like having a workhorse fit in your pocket.

After Apple's announcement today (10/14), it's likely that creatives won't be able to think about anything else besides the next generation iPhone 12.

The new device comes in four different models—iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max—packed with an ecosystem of upgrades and improvements never seen before in an Apple device.

These powerful devices boast with the next-level A14 Bionic chip, a gorgeous edge-to-edge Super Retina XDR display, the introduction of the all-new 5G experience, and of course aerospace-grade stainless steel and aluminum finishes.

It also enables a console-quality gaming experience to users, systemwide color management for industry-leading color accuracy, an immersive HDR viewing experience, and extra protection against everyday spills.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini feature an advanced dual-camera system with Ultra Wide and Wide lenses with an ƒ/1.6 aperture, perfect for low-light and concert photography. Users will be able to take brighter photos with more texture and less noise in Deep Fusion as the phone also intelligently adjusts photos with Smart HDR3 for natural-looking images.

 

As for the Pro line of the new iPhone, photo and video enthusiasts will also get to enjoy the state-of-the-art camera hardware powered by the A14 Bionic, which increases image quality compared to traditional cameras. With its new camera system, users will be able to fiddle around with the expansive Ultra Wide and 65mm focal length Telephoto lenses.

An all-new LiDAR Scanner has also been installed in the Pro series of the iPhone, offering more realistic AR experiences, improved autofocus, and Night mode portraits with low-light bokeh effect. The iPhone 12 Pro models are also Apple ProRAW compatible, giving creatives the ability to gain full control over color, details, and dynamic range of their images.

Besides its fantastic photographic capabilities, the iPhone Pro models offer an end-to-end experience for HDR video with Dolby Vision of up to 60 fps, better video stabilization for camera-grade productions, and amazing video playback.

Pre-orders for the new iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro open on October 16 (Friday), for release on October 23 (Friday). The iPhone 12 Mini and  iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available for pre-order on November 6 (Friday) and will be in stores beginning November 13 (Friday).


iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models in graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue starting at $999 and $1,099, respectively.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models in blue, green, black, white, and (PRODUCT)RED starting at $799 and $699, respectively.
