Ahead of the arrival of Star Wars: Ahsoka, Disney+ has given Star Wars fans another peek at its highly anticipated original series.
On 12 July, the streaming platform launched a brand new trailer for the series, which will have a two-episode premiere on 23 August. On the same day, Disney+ also unveiled new key art for the latest addition to its Star Wars catalogue, which features American actress Rosario Dawson as the titular character.

Running at two minutes and twelve seconds, the trailer teases a high-stakes mission for Ahsoka Tano, who first appeared in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars as the Jedi Padawan, or apprentice, of Anakin Skywalker.
After growing into a fan favourite, the character went on to appear in another animated series, Star Wars: Rebels, before being brought to the live-action realm in Disney+'s The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
Coming three months after the first teaser for Star Wars: Ahsoka was released, the trailer also offers fans better looks at returning heroes from Star Wars: Rebels, Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi), as well as Lars Mikkelsen's villainous Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Dave Filoni, the co-creator and executive producer of Star Wars: Rebels, serves as Star Wars: Ahsoka's head writer and executive producer. He is also credited in the series' list of directors, which also includes Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
