NIKI is back with another peek into her upcoming album, Nicole.
On 5 August, NIKI dropped 'High School in Jakarta'. The track is off NIKI's forthcoming sophomore album which chronicles the singer-songwriter's teenage years, traversing through high school heartbreak, and growing up in Indonesia.

Directed by Isaac Ravishankara, the nostalgic music video takes NIKI back as a teenager in Jakarta, co-starring Peter Adrian Sudarso, with cameos by fellow 88rising acts Warren Hue and Rich Brian.

In a statement, NIKI shares "I always felt high school Nic deserved to have her songs published. So, with that, I have been quietly re-recording and re-imaging some of these songs that I still deeply adore to this day. It’s where younger me and current me meet and hang and have a f**king blast together."
