Jakarta-born, LA-based singer-songwriter NIKI has just unveiled a short film for her hit single ‘Every Summertime.’ 

Directed by Daniel Cloud Campos who was also behind NIKI’S ‘Indigo’, the visual opens with a third-person perspective of a young couple in Los Angeles in the 1970s on the day of their anniversary. The R&B track serves as the backdrop for the couple’s love story over the decades. 

‘Every Summertime’ was first released via Marvel Music/Hollywood Records and Interscope Records as the lead single of the official motion picture soundtrack for the Marvel Studios’ film, Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings.

The aforementioned album was produced by pioneering music collective 88rising which champions Asian and Asian-American artists across the world. 

This follows NIKI’s recent retro release, ‘Split,’ from the upcoming Head In The Clouds 3 compilation album.
