Junghoon of OMEGA X is here to unveil a new side of him as he showcases his sound as a solo artist on his first ever solo single album Belong.
Within OMEGA X, Junghoon has always proved his incredible music capabilities by presenting himself as a triple threat being the composer, lyricist, and vocalist on tracks '덕통사고 (Countdown),' 'TAKE ME OVER,' and 'Pure Love' that the band released as part of their OST album for the Korean BL drama, My Bias Is Showing!. Now he's ready to chart his own path as a solo artist, exploring his distinct style outside of his role in OMEGA X, but still bringing the same passion and genre crossing musicality.
The first track, 'Belong' is an R&B masterpiece that describes the moment of relief that comes with feeling at home in someone's arms. It flows beautifully into the second track 'Slowly' that tenderly reflects the slow blossoming of emotions for another, aligning with its title. Junghoon played a key role in crafting the music and writing the lyrics for both songs.
Junghoon shares his sentiments about embarking on this new chapter as he shares, "I’ve been consistently telling my fans about this for a long time, and now my first solo digital single is finally out in the world! I’m a little nervous about how listeners will react to songs that carry my story and colors, but I’m taking on this new challenge with courage. Please look forward to my journey ahead as well."
Following the release of his single, Junghoon will host a release party in Seoul on 21 December.
