ONE OR EIGHT left blazing swerve marks as they lit up BANGKOK DRIFT with the fiery energy of ‘TOKYO DRIFT’, the lead track from their extremely well received debut mini album GATHER. Their trip saw the octet engaging with fans in a series of events during the Japan Expo Thailand weekend.
ONE OR EIGHT was joined by other amazing regional talents including Kazuya Kamenashi, Koji Mukai of Snow Man, AKB48, Avantgardey, BNK48, Keng-Namping, Zee Nunew, and more. The ‘Don’t Tell Nobody’ hit makers made an explosive surprise entrance during the event as they slipped into a flashmob performance at Parc Paragon, featuring 20 dancers performing to their hit single ‘TOKYO DRIFT’.
After blowing fans away with that unexpected appearance and performance, they jumped right into a convoy of tuk-tuks that zoomed through the Siam area, all while being led by a huge LED-lit truck blasting the focus track. Keeping the adrenaline going, there was also a prominent digital billboard at Parc Paragon, one of Bangkok’s busiest spots, running for a week. Fans also enjoyed an interactive experience during a fan café takeover at Central World, adding another engaging element to the weekend’s activities.

Embracing their time in Thailand, ONE OR EIGHT leveraged the trip to connect with local talents such as ALALA, ATLAS, DICE, GALCHANIE, MILLI, PERSES, and VIIS. They bounced off each other while exchanging creative energy across topics like music, dance, and culture, reinforcing their identity as diverse performers who aim to connect with artists beyond their stages and borders.
Their fun-filled weekend in Bangkok was part of their exhilarating SHIBUYA DRIFT campaign that was launched in celebration of their first mini album GATHER, channeling the virality of the lead track ‘TOKYO DRIFT’, which gained rapid traction on TikTok with a whopping 30 million plays and 1.9 million likes within just one week.

The octet also soared to over one million listeners on Spotify after the release of the record. The SHIBUYA DRIFT campaign lit the city up with posters, ad trucks, large-format screens, and a Nissan Skyline GTR (R34) wrapped in artwork by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. The campaign ultimately manifested in a 30-minute Surprise Live at Shibuya stream on 8 February, where the group performed atop a 4-ton truck, showcasing their rising influence across Asia.
