Take a trip down memory lane with Orange & Lemons as they unveil their track 'Too Young To Be Old' and relive the bliss and chaos that came with reaching that stage of your life when it was time to bear the weight of transitioning into adulthood.

Being a youth in any era has always been an extremely confusing experience. One moment you're running around in the sun and hanging out with your friends without a care in the world, and the next, you look back and you haven't been spending every waking moment with your friends anymore, but have to focus on things like bills and responsibilities that could swallow you up if you think too deeply about them.

That strange period where you gradually have to come to terms with leaving your adolescence behind is what vocalist and guitarist Clem Castro calls “that strange middle space where you’re no longer reckless, but not quite settled either.” The track unfolds like a silent conversation with the version of you that exists in the past, the version of you that preserves all the memories that make you smile when you recall them from time to time.

Castro reflects deeper on the track as he shares, “The verses reflect doubt and self-awareness, while the chorus opens up into something more universal: the idea that age isn’t just a number, it’s a perspective you sometimes resist. It’s not a sad song, but it carries a gentle ache.” The rich poignant radiance that the track exudes emphasises the importance of staying young at heart and preserving that same playful perspective in life always to make regular routines seem just that much more manageable.

Capturing that signature 60s and 70s touch with the track, it blends delicate and layered instruments with emotive storytelling inspired by one of the band members' personal experiences during a relationship. He found that he and his partner processed this transitional period between youth and adulthood differently as he stayed fascinated by how different people can experience the same things so differently.

Complete with lush production by none other than Castro himself at LILYPOD AUDIO, the track feels like a gentle moment of realisation, the second when the wind changes and you can feel it on your skin. It captures the bittersweet nature of unlocking this stage of life.

The track serves as a glimpse into their upcoming album VISIONS OF AMBER, which Orange & Lemons describes as being a collection of all-English tracks that truly captures the essence of the quartet perfectly.

In a move to connect with listeners worldwide as they celebrate the release of 'Too Young To Be Old', the musical powerhouses are set to embark on a European tour that takes them across major cities such as Dublin, London, Milan, Madrid, Paris, and Amsterdam.

“What excites us most is the contrast: You’re playing for people who may be hearing us for the first time, alongside Filipino communities who’ve carried the music with them wherever they are,” Castro shares. “There’s something special about that mix. For Filipinos abroad, the songs become a connection to home. For new listeners, it’s a fresh introduction. That shared space, where familiarity and discovery meet, is what we’re really looking forward to.”

With a mix of fan favourites and classic hits, the tour is set to ignite new stages in new cities, bringing their signature sound to audiences across the globe and bridging generations of listeners through shared nostalgia and discovery. As 'Too Young To Be Old' sets the tone for what’s to come, Orange & Lemons continue to reflect on growth, memory, and the in-between moments that shape us, offering a heartfelt reminder that even as life moves forward, a part of us never truly leaves youth behind.
