As 2026 began with many idols leaving their groups, leaving fans in disappointment and desperation to get all their favourites on stage once again, SEVENTEEN has given fans a ray of hope as they announced during their SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR 'NEW_' ENCORE" concert at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on 5 April that all 13 members have renewed their contracts with PLEDIS Entertainment.
During the show, SEVENTEEN leader S.Coups announced the joyous news which caused the fans to rejoice in excitement as a new era of SEVENTEEN was upon them. They expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support that CARATs have showered them with over the years, citing them as the reason that the group continues to strive to be better musicians, staying together to give their fans bigger and better hits to jam along to.
The announcement caused an emotional moment between the 13 members and the crowd as Jeonghan looked out into the crowd with tears welling in his eyes, feeling the love and support radiating from the fans to the stage as Joshua hinted to a new chapter of the group, asking fans to hold on for more exciting endeavours to come. The cherry on top was the hugs that they exchanged during their fan song 'To You' that they dedicated to each and every CARAT in the audience.
Since their debut in 2015, SEVENTEEN has stayed together as a 13 member unit, creating hit after hit that truly underlines the essence of the band that is rooted in joy and togetherness, continuing to be a beacon for fans spreading positivity through their music for over a decade. With all members reaffirming their commitment to the team, the renewal signals another major milestone for SEVENTEEN.
