From Davao City to the global stage, HARA are making their first official move.

The six-member P-pop girl group have unveiled their pre-debut single, 'My Love', a Eurohouse-flavoured pop anthem that captures the highs and heartbreaks of girlhood — all wrapped in sleek, club-ready production.

Emerging as the first 100% homegrown P-pop group from Davao under Unique Music Management, HARA carry their identity with intention. Their name is derived from a pre-colonial term meaning “beauty” and “strength,” two qualities that define both their sound and message. The group is managed by Unique Music Management, led by Paul Widger, known for his work with Craig David — a mentorship HARA credit for shaping their artistic standards and creative vision.

Recently securing a recording deal with Sony Music Entertainment, HARA now join a growing roster of P-pop acts under the global label. 'My Love' marks their first official collaboration with Sony — and it’s a confident introduction.

Built on subtle piano chords and sophisticated grooves, 'My Love' transports listeners straight into a glittering clubland fantasia. The production — handled by Pao Lofranco and Aldy — balances vulnerability with polish, layering suave, assured vocals over magnetic dance-pop beats.

“We worked closely with our producers and creative team to make sure the sound complemented the story of the song,” the group share. “From the instrumental to the vocal layers, everything was arranged to highlight vulnerability while still sounding polished and modern.”

Lyrically, the track is a nod to girlhood — that intense, transformative phase of loving deeply and sometimes giving your heart to people who don’t deserve it. But 'My Love' isn’t just about heartbreak. It’s about reclamation.

“It’s about women learning that not everyone is worthy of their love and that it’s okay to walk away,” HARA explain. “We’re not just victims of heartbreak. We’re strong, we make choices, and sometimes we choose ourselves first.”
