AYO have officially stepped into the spotlight with their pre-debut single, 'I’m Him'.
The Davao-based seven-member P-pop act — made up of Justin, Renzo, GV, TJ, Enzo, Zack, and Patrick — are the latest addition to Sony Music Entertainment’s growing roster of regional pop artists. On 'I’m Him', the group channel a bold, self-assured energy, pairing hip-hop-driven production with a message rooted in identity, purpose, and collective strength.
“Within our group, we each bring different strengths and come from varied backgrounds,” shares the P-pop newcomer in a press statement. “Instead of letting that highlight our individuality alone, we turn it into a collective advantage. 'I’m Him' represents our confidence in our individual strengths—but more importantly, it’s about expressing them together as one, in harmony.”
Produced by Paolo Lofranco, the single leans into AYO’s duality: raw yet refined, chaotic yet controlled. The accompanying music video, directed by ODS Productions, mirrors that contrast through industrial warehouse scenes and helipad shots that present two sides of the group under one clear identity.
