Park Bom is taking a break from 2NE1’s group activities to focus on her health, her agency D-Nation Entertainment confirmed on 6 August. The decision follows medical advice recommending that Bom prioritise rest and stability after recent concerns over her physical and emotional condition.
The announcement comes just months after Bom reunited with fellow members CL, Sandara Park, and Minzy for the Welcome Back Tour—their first official comeback as a full group since disbanding in 2016. Their surprise reunion for 2NE1’s 15th debut anniversary sparked massive excitement, with highlights including a special encore of 'Welcome Back' at Seoul’s KSPO Dome in April.

However, fans grew increasingly worried after Bom pulled out of her solo performance at WATERBOMB Busan on 26 July, where she appeared visibly distressed. While the exact nature of her condition remains private, her agency stated that the decision to halt all upcoming activities was made after careful consideration of her well-being.
In the meantime, CL, Dara, and Minzy will continue 2NE1’s scheduled appearances, including their upcoming aprreances at WATERBOMB Bali and WATERBOMB Singapore 2025. The trio is expected to carry on group promotions while offering their full support to Bom.

The news has triggered an outpouring of love from fans across the globe, many of whom have long admired Bom’s perseverance and vocal artistry. While there’s no set timeline for her return, the priority remains her full recovery. As one of the most distinctive voices in K-pop, Park Bom’s presence will be missed—but her health comes first.
Fans can expect updates through official channels as the situation develops. Until then, all eyes and hearts remain with Bom, hoping she takes the time she needs to heal and return stronger than ever.
