Phum Viphurit and Thomas Ng get vulnerable in new collaboration, 'Pills' — listen

Phum Viphurit teams up with Thomas Ng to drop the comforting new track, ‘Pills’. 

With their soothing vocals, the pair captures the essence of their innermost thoughts and dedicate the song to listeners who “feel so alone sometimes”. 

When asked to share the inspiration behind writing the song, Thomas explains that he’d penned the lyrics with a close friend who grew up on medication.

“I wrote this song thinking of them, hoping they’ll get better and letting them know they’re not alone on this.” he muses that though he wrote ‘Pills’ with an individual in mind, he hopes “that this song can help people everywhere.”

The collaboration of the ‘Lover Boy’ and ‘One Last Dance’ hitmakers is the first of three installations for asiatic.wav volume. 1, a future EP from Asiatic Records. Slated to drop on 13 May, the EP promises to present a diverse range of genres and themes from a talented slate of regional artists.
