PLAYERTWO are back—and better than ever. On 14 November, the Filipino genre-blurring group released Happy Accidents Vol. 2, the bold follow-up to their debut, Happy Accidents Vol. 1. The new album dives headfirst into bigger, bass-heavy production while leaning into their signature honesty and growth.
This time around, they’re not playing it safe. Vol. 2 packs collaborations with sonic trailblazers like LUSTBASS, Jolianne, and August Wahh, bringing new textures and depth to PLAYERTWO’s evolving sound.

To celebrate the release, the band held an exclusive album launch on 15 November at Soundcheck Studios in Pasig—and it was anything but ordinary. With immersive visuals and a full live performance of the album, the night offered fans a first listen of the new material in its rawest, most electrifying form.

Opening the night were two of the scene’s most exciting acts: Young Cocoa, the Iloilo-born third culture kid known for his laidback flow, and Illest Morena, whose viral energy lit up the stage.

But the night’s biggest surprise? A special appearance by Felip of SB19, who sent fans into an ecstatic frenzy—capping off the event with a powerful message of community, collaboration, and love for the craft.
