K-pop agencies have issued official warnings against an upcoming event titled FEST WORLD TOUR 2023.

The said event was said to be hosted by a company called Hwang Entertainment, and promised to feature the likes of ENHYPEN, MIRAE, WayV, NCT DREAM, and SEVENTEEN. The posters shared via the company's social media channels also indicated that the tour was to take place in Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand.

SM Entertainment quickly made an official statement regarding the alleged participation of WayV and NCT DREAM at the said event. "The information is misleading and incorrect," the agency clarified. "We ask the public not to respond to these schemes."

HYBE Labels BELIFT LAB and PLEDIS Entertainment also followed suit with their respective statements via Weverse. Home to SEVENTEEN, PLEDIS shared an official statement on Weverse saying that "an unlicensed tour infringing SEVENTEEN’s intellectual property has been announced online without our company’s authorization".  The agency emphasised that SEVENTEEN will not be participating in the event. They also added how CARATs should take caution and to "request for a refund to the event organizer immediately if you have already purchased tickets to the above event. Our company does not hold responsibility for any damages occurred by this event as it is an unauthorized event."

Meanwhile, BELIFT LAB also warned fans about "an unauthorized event that infringes ENHYPEN’s intellectual property has been announced online."  "Any external event ENHYPEN participates is jointly announced by BELIFT LAB and the event organizers followed by discussions between both parties. Event organizers or hosts do not announce an event without an official announcement of ENHYPEN’s official channels," BELIFT LAB further clarified.

Hwang Entertainment has since deleted their social media channels.
