Psycho Silver has dropped her debut single.
On Thursday (18/01), the Filipino electronic singer-songwriter has made her introduction with the release of 'Superbia'. Produced by Francis "The Ringmaster" Lorenzo, 'Superbia' stands as a message from Psycho Silver's past self to her future self to calm down.

In a message to Bandwagon, Psycho Silver reveals that 'Superbia' came to life after getting overwhelmed with her thoughts. She says, "I couldn’t stay put at the time, and was pacing back and forth, so I tried making a song. The synth was pressed by accident when I sat down, and stacked the layers from there. The lyrics is basically an affirmation to myself that everything will be okay — to relax, focus on the present, and ‘drown out the noise from my mind’."
She adds, "If you can observe the piano riff towards the end, there’s one off-note. It’s a feeling when the ‘anxiety’ comes back a bit after it subsides. It lingers. Do not worry. Just treat it like an aftershock. It’ll go away eventually."

"I’m really grateful that he’s producing the songs with me," Psycho Silver, who is inspired by film noir and '80s, pop, classical, and triphop music, shares what it's like working with The Ringmaster as her producer. "He elevated the sound that I was going for and fleshed out my visions that I thought wouldn’t be possible," she adds. "His inputs to the songs were like placing the pieces to my missing puzzle. And he understands my music language that a rare few can only decode. And vice versa. Coz a few can understand his language too, apparently. So same wavelength. I love our dynamic."
