PULP Live World has brought another set of foreign and local metal and heavy rock bands to Manila for their seventeenth edition. PULP Summer Slam XVII: Redemption featured performances by metal legends Megadeth, returning bands Dragonforce and Crossfaith, first-timers Whitechapel, I See Stars, and God of Eden, as well as local acts WilaBaliW, Greyhoundz, Slapshock, Razorback, and Kjwan. Southeast Asia's longest-running metal festival took place at the Amoranto Stadium last April 29.
