The winners of the BandLab NME Awards 2022 are finally here.
On Tuesday (11/1), NME revealed the winners of its brand-new Asia-exclusive categories.
Singaporean band Subsonic Eye clinched Best Album By an Asian Artist with their sophomore record, Nature Of Things. The group's 2021 effort is also listed as one of Bandwagon's Best Albums of 2021
88rising's 'Internet boy' Warren Hue won Best Song by an Asian Artist with 'omomo punk'.
Best Band From Asia goes to Filipino folk-pop act Ben&Ben, who was also the 34th Awit Awards' Most Streamed OPM Artist in 2021.
Thai dystopian pop musician Pyra wins Best Solo Act From Asia. Meanwhile, Best New Act from Asia goes to Singaporean breakout star Shye.
