RADWIMPS have dropped the stunning music video for ‘Hitsu Zetsu’, taken from their latest album Anew. Directed by Michihito Fujii and starring actress Suzu Hirose, the video is a raw, documentary-style visual that explores fleeting emotions and quiet moments, beautifully mirroring the song’s poignant lyrics.
The collaboration reunites Fujii and RADWIMPS after working together on The Last 10 Years in 2022, showcasing their seamless creative synergy.
Released earlier this month, Anew features 12 tracks — including fan favourites ‘Tamamono’ and ‘Meidai’, both originally composed for Japanese television dramas. The physical edition comes with a bonus orchestral version of ‘Tamamono’, while digital listeners get a fresh take on ‘DAI-DAN-EN feat. ZORN (Anew Version)’. It’s RADWIMPS’ first studio album in four years and a strong statement in their 20th year since debut.
Celebrations continue with the upcoming release of Dear Jubilee -RADWIMPS TRIBUTE- on 19 November, featuring covers of their classics by yet-to-be-revealed artists.
The band are currently in the midst of their RADWIMPS 20th ANNIVERSARY LIVE TOUR, which kicked off on 18 October. The massive 17-show arena tour will culminate in their hometown of Yokohama, with special guest performances by BUMP OF CHICKEN, Vaundy, and YOASOBI.
