Japanese rock trailblazers RADWIMPS are back with Anew — their first studio album in four years — and it’s everything fans have been waiting for and more.

Anew features 12 tracks, including 10 brand-new songs and previously released favourites ‘Tamamono’ (theme for NHK’s drama serial Anpan) and ‘Meidai’ (theme for NTV’s news zero). The digital version includes the exclusive bonus track ‘DAI-DAN-EN feat. ZORN (Anew Version)’, while the physical edition treats fans to an orchestra version of ‘Tamamono’.

The new album marks a key milestone in the band’s 20th major debut anniversary and arrives alongside the stunning music video for ‘World End Girl Friend’. Directed by Takeshi Maruyama and filmed in Thailand, the clip captures a bittersweet love story told through the eyes of a girl navigating young romance in a foreign land.

To commemorate the anniversary, RADWIMPS also unveiled a 20th Anniversary Special Box of Anew — a must-have collector’s set featuring:

  • A special studio performance from 29 June

  • Behind-the-scenes footage and interviews

  • Rare clips from their first-ever arena show at Yokohama Arena (August 2007)

  • Four songs from their FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’25 set

  • A limited-edition anniversary pouch with 3 exclusive items

International preorders are now open.

That’s not all — RADWIMPS are also embarking on their RADWIMPS 20th ANNIVERSARY LIVE TOUR, which kicks off this season across nine cities in Japan, including 17 arena dates. Their homecoming shows in Yokohama will be extra special, featuring BUMP OF CHICKEN, Vaundy, and YOASOBI as special guests across three nights. The tour culminates in a grand celebration on 23 November, their official anniversary date.

Tickets are now on sale — if you’re in Japan, don’t miss your chance to catch this legendary band live.
