A bold new voice has entered the OPM scene. RAMONA (aka Andrea Brillantes) makes her explosive music debut with the single 'GAGA', a sharp-tongued pop-rock anthem that takes aim at celebrity gossip and the spread of misinformation online.
Positioning herself as a rebellious outsider, RAMONA flips the script on the labels often thrown at outspoken women. Words like “pa-victim,” “malandi,” and “toxic” are repurposed through satire and repetition, turning the noise of online speculation into a rallying cry for reclaiming one’s narrative.
“People talk, people guess, people decide what’s true before they even know anything,” RAMONA shares. “'GAGA' just throws it all back.”
Produced by Tim and Sam Marquez of One Click Straight, the track pairs grungy guitars and chant-ready hooks with manic pop energy. Beneath its abrasive textures lies a clear message: instead of retreating from public scrutiny, RAMONA meets it head-on.
The accompanying music video leans into the song’s themes through satire. Set inside a chaotic courtroom, the visual follows a security guard falsely accused of theft, highlighting how power and perception can shape public “truth.” Multi-awarded actor Pepe Herrera plays the accused, while RAMONA appears as his defense lawyer.
