Indonesian emo outfit Reconcile is back with a haunting new maxi single, Drowned in Static, marking a fresh chapter in their journey. Featuring two emotionally charged tracks, ‘Numb’ and ‘Somewhere You Can Find,’ the release sets the stage for their upcoming album—an exploration of deception, loss, and the weight of a distorted reality.

Led by Dava (vocals/guitar), with Nabil (lead guitar), Zidane (bass), and  (drums), the Malang-based band channels raw vulnerability into their sound, drawing from influences like Title Fight and Movements. This latest release also signals their partnership with Haum Entertainment, adding momentum to their evolving identity.

‘Drowned in Static’ embodies the feeling of being lost in an illusion, swallowed by emotions too heavy to escape. As Dava puts it, the songs “honestly describe the pain and emptiness” of being trapped in a false world. Recorded and mixed with the same passion that fuels their lyrics, the maxi single is a gripping prelude to what’s to come.
