Reese Lansangan is back on her Youtube channel with her take on the High School Musical hit "What I've Been Looking For". The singer-songwriter just got back from her Japan holiday and shares that all the shops in Harajuku were playing songs from HSM.
I just came back from Japan and they kept playing High School Musical EVERYWHERE in Harajuku like you wouldn't believe. It was like all the shop owners shared a single Spotify playlist.
So, I decided to do a really mellow version of What I've Been Looking For! I used to sing this with my sister ALL THE TIME, and we'd record it on webcam and act like Sharpay and Ryan, even while sitting on chairs. It was so fun to get to revisit this song in 2017. I also wanted to wear something red and white to represent East High. I didn't own any red with sleeves, so you'll just have to bear my sausage arms haha!
