Rainbow Disco Club is heading to Singapore for the first time. The revered Japanese dance music festival will stage its debut Singapore edition on 3–4 October, bringing its acclaimed curation and immersive festival experience to the Lion City.

Known for its guiding principle "Beyond Space and Time", Rainbow Disco Club has built a global following over its 17-year run, presenting music that moves across eras and genres — from classic disco to modern underground club sounds.

The festival is best known for its annually sold-out gathering in Izu, Japan, and has also staged international takeovers in Bali, Melbourne, Amsterdam, Lisbon, and Paris. Singapore now joins the list as Rainbow Disco Club expands its footprint across the region.

While the lineup has yet to be revealed, organisers have teased a weekend featuring artists from Japan and across Asia. The Singapore edition will unfold across three sessions, beginning with an open-air Day Session on Saturday, 3 October from 1 PM to 10:15 PM at Block 39 Carpark, Tanjong Pagar Distripark. The daytime programme will feature a live set by one of Japan’s electronic maestros, as well as a closing set by a legendary crate-digger and co-founder of one of dance music’s most respected labels.

The festival then moves upstairs to Cargo39 for the Night Session, which runs from 10 PM to 3 AM and will feature two of Asia’s techno luminaries laying down late-night shades of dance music in an intimate warehouse setting.

Rainbow Disco Club Singapore will close on Sunday, 4 October with a Recovery Session at RASA from 4 PM to 8 PM, offering a gentler comedown through a special three-way ambient collaboration between three of Asia’s finest live electronic musicians, performing together as a trio for the first time.

A limited-time blind sale is now live and will run until 11:55 PM SGT on 8 July. Tickets can be purchased here.
