RIIZE's second mini album II has officially arrived via SM Entertainment and RCA Records, led by the energetic title track 'Do your dance'. The six-track release marks the latest chapter in RIIZE's journey as they continue to build on their "Rise & Realize" philosophy, this time embracing the idea of "Rise to Realize" — discovering who you are through action, growth, and experience.
At the heart of the project is 'Do your dance', a high-energy dance anthem built around confidence, freedom, and trusting your instincts. Driven by infectious hooks and performance-focused production, the track encourages listeners to let go of perfectionism and enjoy the moment. According to the group, the song's memorable "Head, hips, shoulders, toes" refrain and dynamic choreography are among its biggest highlights.
The accompanying music video puts RIIZE's performance strengths front and centre. Directed by longtime collaborator Jinuya, who previously helmed visuals for 'Siren', 'Memories', 'Get A Guitar', and 'Impossible', the clip combines fluid camerawork with a one-take-inspired approach to showcase the group's sharp choreography and charismatic stage presence.
Beyond its title track, II highlights the group's expanding musical palette. Opening track 'SOAR' leans into alternative rock influences, while 'D-D-Done' brings breezy bass house energy. Elsewhere, 'Overdrive' explores R&B and hip-hop textures through heavy bass and beat switches, and 'Like a Bomb' delivers a funk-driven groove. The mini album closes with 'In a Loop', a bright and uplifting pop track that leaves listeners on a hopeful note.
The release follows the success of RIIZE's first full-length album ODYSSEY, which became the group's third consecutive million-selling project, as well as their single 'Fame'. Earlier this year, the six-member act further expanded its global reach by becoming the first K-pop boy group to perform at Lollapalooza festivals across Latin America.
Comprised of SHOTARO, EUNSEOK, SUNGCHAN, WONBIN, SOHEE, and ANTON, RIIZE debuted in September 2023 with 'Get A Guitar' and have since established themselves as one of K-pop's fastest-rising acts. With II, the group channels a carefree, confident spirit that feels tailor-made for the summer season while continuing to push their performance-driven identity forward.
