Riot Games' new virtual music group is rising soon.

On 16 October, the League of Legends game developer announced the upcoming debut of its virtual boy group Heartsteel. They're set to drop their first single 'PARANOIA' on 23 October 2023 at 11 p.m. SGT.

The six-member act is voiced by artists from across the globe, featuring EXO's Baekhyun as Ezreal (Vocalist), American rapper Cal Scruby as Kayn (Rapper and instrumentalist), Nigerian singer Tobi Lou as K’Sante (Co-leader and vocalist), and Taiwanese-American rapper ØZI as Sett (Co-leader and rapper). League of Legends Champions Aphelios (Instrumentalist and songwriter) and Yone (Producer) complete the group.

"The idea of an all-male band has long been speculated on by fans and we’re so excited to bring this fantasy to life," Maria Egan, Riot Games Entertainment's Global Head of Music & Events, shares in a statement. "Heartsteel is a deep collaboration between all our talented in-house creative teams and some incredible new artists. The ethos of Heartsteel is a supergroup of musical soulmates greater than the sum of its parts: A philosophy that our community embodies every day through their dedication to our games."

Prior to announcing Heartsteel, who were named after a mythic item from League of Legends, Riot Games collaborated with 'Super Shy' act NewJeans on the League of Legends 2023 Season World Championship anthem 'GODS.'
