K-R&B artist Rovv, best known as a member of the BTS-backed trio The Good Days Boys, steps into the spotlight with his first solo album, Rovv Song, out now via Seoul-based label AMASSCULTURE.
Blurring the lines between R&B and pop, Rovv Song is a deeply personal journey through love’s different stages — from infatuation to confusion, passion to heartbreak. The 10-track record is split into three chapters: The Spark, The High, and The Aftermath, reflecting a cinematic take on modern romance.
The album’s title track, 'What Are We', is a standout — a magnetic R&B-pop crossover about undefined feelings and flirty tension. Its accompanying video, set in a dreamy office romance scenario, features choreography by renowned dancer GABEE of LACHICA.
The track was co-written with LA-based songwriter Wes (GOT7’s Mark) and produced by SLO, who’s worked with Jay Park and aespa’s NingNing.
Other highlights from the record include:
-
‘Roll The Dice (feat. DeVita)’ — a sultry duet pulsing with risk and allure
-
‘Under The Radar’ — a breezy groove that captures secret affection
-
‘DND (feat. SHIRT)’ — an introspective R&B moment about boundaries and vulnerability
Since his 2018 debut, Rovv has made waves for his honest, real-life storytelling and soft, soulful vocals. Now, as a solo artist, he trades idol-perfect polish for something more grounded — a musical diary of a guy who texts to check if you’ve eaten and admits when he’s wrong.
From his world tour with The Good Days Boys to millions of streams across his discography, Rovv Song marks a bold new chapter for the Korean artist.
