Music, food, and giving back are coming together at Marina Bay Sands this August. Sands for Singapore Charity Festival is returning for its 12th edition, with its main festivities taking over Event Plaza from 28 to 30 August.

The three-night waterfront celebration will bring together live performances, food pop-ups, community booths, and fundraising activities, with Singaporean musicians taking the stage throughout the weekend.

RRILEY will headline the Festival's opening night on 28 August. The Singaporean artist, who first made her debut as a founding member of local pop quartet The Sam Willows, will perform alongside Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities' Brave Hearts Ensemble, an inclusive performing arts group formed by residents of THK Home for the Disabled at Eunos.

Local bands 53A, The Vibes, and SuperSonic will also soundtrack the weekend with live renditions of cover favourites.

Beyond the music, festival-goers can head to the Good Bites Market, where five gourmet pop-up experiences will raise funds for non-profit organisation AWWA and its Enabled Living @ Bedok programme, which aims to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently.

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, Bread Street Kitchen, and RISE will serve up specially priced dishes and drinks, while Roberta's Pizza and homegrown Café Nesuto will join the Festival for the first time.

Visitors can also participate in Impact Match, an interactive game where players create digital school packs containing essential supplies. Each successfully completed pack will be matched by Marina Bay Sands with a school pack for students at NorthLight School.

Meanwhile, the Giving Marketplace will bring together local non-profits, social enterprises, and small businesses, including APSN, ART:DIS, Cat Welfare Society, MINDS, Carer, Social Gifting, Teddy Thotz, and more.

The annual Community Chest Heartstrings Walk and Race to the Sky Vertical Marathon will also return on 29 August. Co-organised by Marina Bay Sands and Community Chest, the event includes a walk around Marina Bay and a 57-storey vertical climb to the SkyPark Observation Deck, supporting more than 300 social service programmes across Singapore.

The Festival's fundraising efforts will extend beyond Event Plaza with Dine for Good, which runs from 1 to 30 August.

Among the dishes on offer are LAVO's Reginette Seafood Alfredo at S$45++, Yardbird's Chicken & Waffles at S$48++, Maison Boulud's Coq Au Vin at S$42++, and Origin + Bloom's Chicken Rendang Sandwich at S$12 nett.

Miracle Coffee will also collaborate with Marina Bay Sands' pastry team on a KIKU-inspired matcha and yuzu cake, available exclusively from 10 to 30 August.

Speaking about the initiative, Huixia See Toh, Director of Family Services at AWWA, said: “We look forward to this continued support for AWWA’s latest initiative, Enabled Living @ Bedok, which will empower persons with disabilities to live independently and participate actively in the community with confidence and dignity.”

Since launching in 2013, Sands for Singapore Charity Festival has helped raise more than S$45 million for social causes in Singapore, supporting low-income families, youths, seniors, and persons with disabilities.

“By connecting these experiences with opportunities to give back, we hope to inspire even more people to support causes that matter to Singapore while strengthening the social bonds that help communities thrive,” said Paul Town, Chief Operating Officer at Marina Bay Sands.
