Ryokuoushoku Shakai returns with 'Shirushi' that's set to be the opening theme to the Japanese TV drama A Moonlight Nights Passing.

Composed by bassist Shingo Anami and arranged by ha-j, the track reflects on adulthood’s pressures and encourages listeners to reclaim their personal story, celebrating the courage to live freely and authentically, guided by the heart like a child.
Vocalist Haruko Nagaya, who was the lyricist for the track, shares a bit more about his thought process as he muses, "As we become adults, we take on more roles, at work and in our families, and somewhere along the way, we begin to lose sight of ourselves. When I read the original story and the script, I found myself thinking, ‘I really understand this,’ again and again. No matter how old you are, that shouldn’t matter. I hope this song can be an opportunity for people to put themselves first again. I’m truly excited to see what kind of journey lies ahead."
With 'Shirushi', Ryokuoushoku Shakai delivers a heartfelt reminder to reconnect with oneself amid life’s demands. By blending introspective lyrics with their signature sound, the band encourages listeners to embrace authenticity, find courage in vulnerability, and rediscover the childlike freedom that guides the heart, making this release both timely and deeply resonant.
