6 things to do at the Philippines' first theme park music festival, Salo-Salo Fest

Up until this point, music festivals and amusement parks have been two different adventures. But this December, the magic of the two is coming together with Salo-Salo Fest.

Presented by Karpos Multimedia—the same guys behind the yearly anticipated Wanderland, Salo-Salo Fest is the Philippines' first-ever theme park music festival where you can sing your heart out to your favourite artists and scream at the top of your lungs on some thrilling park rides—or both at the same time if you choose to.

Here's everything you can do at the first-ever Salo-Salo Fest.

RIDE ALL YOU CAN

Before Enchanted Kingdom is set to transform into the home of Salo-Salo Fest next week, it's always been a magical site full of fun and wonder, where screams of joy and sweet laughter fill the air—and all that doesn't go away just because your favourite artists are taking the stage.

Throughout the entire festival run, you can ride all the thrilling and exciting attractions that Enchanted Kingdom has to offer. Whether you want to get your heart rate up on Anchors Away or go up to the skies on the EKstream Tower, all while revelling in the musical stylings of Rico Blanco or Clara Benin, you can experience the magic of the South-based amusement park like never before.

ENJOY LIVE MUSIC FROM YOUR FAVOURITE ACTS

Across three days, you'll be treated to music from a wide variety of acts and genres. From the soothing sounds of Ysanygo to ring in the weekend to rock-and-roll energy of Parokya Ni Edgar, you can sing (or even scream while on the rides) and dance your hearts out to some good tunes.

But beyond some of the Philippines' musical icons and exciting up-and-comers, international acts joan and Johnny Stimson will also be rocking out on stage for the ultimate Salo-Salo.

PLAY FAIR GAMES

Need a break from the music and rides? No worries at all with a park as vast as Enchanted Kingdom. Across the park, there are an array of games that will not only fuel your competitive spirit but also gift you amazing prizes.

GET YOUR GOODY DANCE SHOES ON

If dancing is what your heart desires then dancing is what you get.

Throughout the entire festival, you can get your filling of beats and grooves at the Goody Dance Shoes tent, where serving you are none other than crwn, Abdel Aziz, Ean Mayor, curtismith, St. Vincent & The Grenadines, Manolet Dario, Jason Soong, Damson Lavender, and more. So pop on in, in between the rides and vibes, for a dance party you just can't resist.

CELEBRATE THE FEELING OF PASKONG PINOY

If there's anything quintessentially Filipino, it's music and Christmas; and Salo-Salo Fest has that and more.

With music from some of the Philippines' best musicians, endless rides that'll have you screaming with joy, and a magical park for you to roam around with your friends and family, what better way to ring in the holiday spirit than the country's first-ever theme park musical festival?

And did we mention that it's an event for all ages? So, while you could never convince your parents to rock up to a regular music festival, Salo-Salo Fest has something to keep every family member entertained.

INDULGE IN GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS

What's a Salo-Salo without food and drinks?

Enchanted Kingdom has never run short of good food and refreshing drinks to keep your energy up during a long day and you can bet that it'll be the same at its first music festival. Whether you're in need of a burst of energy before you head back out to rock out to Zild and sing along to Lola Amour or want a quick bite for courage before you try and conquer the Space Shuttle, there'll be a lot to choose from.

Salo-Salo Fest is happening from 2 to 4 December at Enchanted Kingdom, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Tickets for the festival are available for purchase via Tickelowith day passes starting at PHP 2250
