R&B songstress Sam Rui released a new single titled 'Never Be (Let It Go)' (or more accurately '永远不会(松手)' in Chinese), as though to bring an end to the month and start tomorrow anew.

Known to release songs that are highly relatable to those who face relationship problems, this song successfully illustrates the wretchedness and difficulty of letting go to start afresh.

In the new FAUXE-produced single, Rui repeated "This is me let it go, let it go, let it go of you" for almost half of her song, articulating a tinge of unwillingness to do so. Seemingly stuck in perplexity, she overlays the repeated motif with "I deserve better".

We all know it is easier said than done to let go of somebody you love in a relationship, but Rui’s voice magically calms flustered souls.

With the power of mending broken hearts, Rui will also be releasing her debut album Season 2 this June.
