Global superfan platform Weverse is expanding its reach into the Philippines, welcoming P-pop powerhouses SB19 and BINI to the platform this March.

The move marks a historic first: the two acts become the first Philippine pop artists to launch official communities on Weverse, signalling P-pop’s rapidly growing presence on the global stage.

Through their respective communities, fans will be able to access artist content, Digital Membership subscriptions, and direct communication through Weverse DM. BINIs community launches 16 March, while SB19s community will open 19 March.

For both groups, the platform offers a new way to connect with their international fanbases.

We’re truly excited to join a platform where so many fans actively connect with the artists they support,” SB19 shared in a statement. “We hope this opportunity allows us to grow even closer to our fans, A’TIN, around the world. We will be sharing exclusive content and creating meaningful memories together.”

Formed in 2018, SB19composed of Pablo, Josh, Ken, Stell, and Justinhas been a driving force behind the global rise of P-pop. The group’s viral hit 'GENTO' in 2023 pushed them further into the international spotlight, introducing their high-energy sound to audiences far beyond the Philippines.

Meanwhile, BINI continues to build global momentum of their own. The eight-member group — Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheenadebuted in 2021 and has since earned the title The Nation’s Girl Group.” Their viral tracks 'Pantropiko' and 'Salamin, Salamin' have become staples in the P-pop scene, capturing the attention of fans across Asia and beyond.

With their Weverse debut, BINI will also introduce their Global Official Fanclub Membership, further strengthening their connection with fans worldwide.

Being on Weverse means so much to us because it gives us the chance to connect with our fans, Blooms, more closely — no matter where they are in the world,” the group shared. “Through this space, we look forward to sharing more moments, conversations, milestones, and creating many new memories along the way.”

The announcement arrives at a major moment for the group. This April, BINI is set to make history as the first Filipino group to perform at Coachella, further cementing their place in the international music landscape.

According to Joon Choi, President of Weverse Company, the addition of both groups reflects the platform’s broader push to diversify its global artist roster.

Weverse is delighted to welcome SB19 and BINI as the first P-pop artists on our platform,” Choi said. “With artists from the Philippines joining us, we look forward to delivering diverse experiences and authentic connections to fans across genres and regions.”
