This December, indie music lovers in Singapore get the opportunity to grow their musical knowledge and appreciation. Music Day Out! 2022 is happening from Wednesday to Friday, 21 to 23 December 2022, at *SCAPE The Ground Theatre, Level 2.

The three-day music festival provides the space for local indie artists to meet and learn from creative and cultural entrepreneurs, organisations, and practitioners.

The festival features one-hour workshops from a variety of speakers who can help expand perspectives on the independent music community. The workshops center around relevant topics, including touring in Southeast Asia (by Arin Sharnaz from Tala Records) and monetizing sync and publishing.

Attendees may also request consultations with industry experts, including Audrey Ong from Secret Signals on PR in music, Isaac Chiew from Big Duck on producing a show, Cherie Tan from Sony Music on label representation, Ian Lee from pk.records & Tonehouse on producing music, and many more.

During the festival, independent artists are given a platform to share their music with a wide audience. The Music Day Out! Independent Music Showcase will present a different set of local musicians on each day:
