Science Centre Singapore opens doors to prog-metal, math rock and noise in new initiative

Amongst all the new venues this year hosting live music, we didn't expect Science Centre Singapore to be among them.

And yet, the long-running educational establishment will host a special showcase this week; part of a brand new initiative that "explores the bond between experimental art and science".

Titled PROX-I, its inaugural edition will feature instrumentally dexterous rock bands Sphaeras and T-Rex alongside experimental noise acts Circuitrip and S*I*N. The showcase will be rounded up by a special talk by media creative Wu Jun Han, who occasionally performs under the moniker han2.

Entry is free but registration is required through email — send over your name and email address here to land a spot. PROX-I is happening on September 30th from 7.30pm, taking place at E3 Exhibition (Hall C).
