On 7 November at Tuff Club, Bassis unveils Beyond the Surface, a new party series spotlighting the pulse, history, and future of electronic culture in Asia.
For its first edition, Beyond the Surface brings in a giant of the global scene — Scuba, the pioneering producer and DJ behind Hotflush Recordings. Known for his shape-shifting journey from UK dubstep origins to Berlin’s techno stronghold, Scuba (aka Paul Rose) continues to redefine genre boundaries and elevate conversations around electronic music through his podcast Music Not Diving.
“We’re not glorifying the past; we’re showing how the underground evolves when passion meets progression,” shares Bassis founder Don Wong. “Beyond the Surface is about depth, not nostalgia.”
