The track, co-produced by Soyoon and Jon Nellen (Nick Hakim), marks the second teaser from their upcoming album <NOW>, dropping on 15 August. Mixed by Nathan Boddy (Pink Pantheress, Geordie Greep), 'Remember!' is a sonic journey packed with lush atmospheres, dynamic shifts, and raw emotion, blending lo-fi grit with cinematic polish.
"'Remember!' came from a place of grief and deep introspection," shares Soyoon. The song pays tribute to the late Ryuichi Sakamoto, a mentor and musical inspiration. “His death left me with a determination never to forget who I am… and the way of remembering him is to hold onto this.”
The song’s music video captures a deeply personal side of Soyoon’s artistry, complementing the track’s reflective tone with ethereal visuals set against the Seoul cityscape.
Following her 2023 solo record Episode1: Love, Soyoon turned to New York City for fresh inspiration. “I was thinking, ‘I’m done. I’m not going to do music anymore.’ But after that New York experience, I felt hope.” That clarity birthed <NOW>, an album anchored in the present and grounded in nature.
The 12-track album will include previous single 'Twit Winter' and new songs like 'New Romantic', 'Secret Police', and 'Eden'.
