Today marks a powerful return for SE SO NEON, as the South Korean indie rock outfit unveiled their latest single, 'Twit Winter'.

A kaleidoscopic dive into mortality, memory, and time, 'Twit Winter' sees the genre-defying band push deeper into their sonic identity — weaving together blues, psychedelic rock, synth-pop, and new wave influences. The track is sung in Korean, but its emotional resonance knows no language barrier.
Helmed by frontwoman Soyoon Hwang, who also self-directed the track’s striking music video in Seoul, 'Twit Winter' becomes more than just a song. It's a meditation on time’s collapse — a lyrical and visual “time capsule” that connects the Soyoon of the past and the future.
It struck me, with a kind of quiet clarity, that music and the stage allow one to dismantle time’s linearity altogether,” Soyoon reflects.
Co-produced with Kenny Gilmore (Weyes Blood, Sudan Archives) and mixed by Nathan Boddy (Pink Pantheress, Geordie Greep), the single builds upon SE SO NEON’s already-celebrated artistry. With over 145 million global streams, the band continues to be a force in Asia’s indie scene — their fanbase especially strong in cities like Jakarta, Bangkok, and Singapore.
Formed in 2016, SE SO NEON's no strangers to acclaim, having earned "Rookie of the Year" and "Best Rock Song of the Year" at the Korean Music Awards. Their 2020 EP Nonadaptation earned nods from Pitchfork and Paste, and they were the only Korean act in YouTube Music’s global Foundry program that year.
