SEVENTEEN member DINO has released his first pre-release single, 'Love Sick (narr. Lee Moon Sae)', under his alter ego Picheolin, offering fans a first taste of his upcoming debut mini-album, 吉BOARD(Gilboard). The release arrives ahead of the album and showcases a more sentimental side of the K-pop star.
Built on wistful piano melodies and a sophisticated city pop sound, 'Love Sick (narr. Lee Moon Sae)' tells the bittersweet story of Picheolin, described as a "romantic of the century." DINO co-wrote and co-composed the track alongside longtime SEVENTEEN producer BUMZU, while legendary South Korean singer and radio DJ Lee Moon Sae opens the song with a heartfelt narration that sets its emotional tone.
The accompanying music video follows Picheolin through neon-lit city streets as he navigates heartbreak, pairing nostalgic visuals with themes of healing and longing.
'Love Sick (narr. Lee Moon Sae)' is the first of two pre-release singles from 吉BOARD(Gilboard). DINO will follow it up with 'Mi-cheo Mi-cheo' on 22 July, with both tracks appearing on the mini-album, which reinterprets a range of genres through the lens of traditional Korean Heung (hype).
Elsewhere, SEVENTEEN are set to launch STAN [SEVENTEEN] on 17 July, a four-episode video podcast series produced as part of HYBE and Spotify's original show STAN. Hosted by DINO alongside his alter ego Picheolin, as well as V8 (THE 8 and VERNON), the series promises behind-the-scenes stories from the group's creative process and a closer look at the members' artistic journeys.
