SEVENTEEN's DxS is ready to take fans through a delicate journey fans the release of their first mini album. Formed by members DK and SEUNGKWAN, DxS makes a deep and cathartic debut with Serenade.

DxS welcomes fans as they take a bumpy and all too familiar rollercoaster ride through the ups and downs of being in a relationship, from the first moment to the last goodbyes. DK and SEUNGKWAN weave the relatable lyrics together with their extraordinary writing prowess, as the emotions come to life through the depth of their vocal performances as well.

At the heart of the album is the lead single 'Blue' that perfectly captures the essence of what Serenade is all about. Anchored by expressive vocals, the track unfolds with a resonant piano foundation and grand, cinematic orchestration, unpacking the intense emotions that arise when a gaping rift between two lovers starts to form.

The spectacular eight-minute music video hits the nail on the head when it comes to representing the magnitude of the feelings that build with the swirling storm between the two. Featuring acclaimed actors Yoo-mi Lee and Steve Sanghyun Noh, the narrative traces the emotional divide between two lovers, one being tormented by the lingering sting of old wounds reopening and haunting him, and the other who slowly slips away, leaving only a lingering ache behind.

The album also allows DK and SEUNGKWAN to showcase their musical prowess with a pair of solo tracks that capture their sonic capabilities in their own right. DK’s 'Rockstar' channels gratitude for those who matter most, while SEUNGKWAN’s 'Dream Serenade' captures the quiet closure that comes from mutual understanding. Each member was involved in the writing and composition of their respective tracks, with both appearing as lyricists across each other’s songs.

Through a range of vocal deliveries, the album moves from the dangerous allure of 'Guilty Pleasure', through the quiet heartbreak of 'Silence', and ends with 'Prelude of Love', a pop rock closer that signals renewal and a fresh beginning.

The duo showcases their vocal skill and artistry, blending complementary tones and expressive delivery, with an epilogue MV set to release on 19 January. With Serenade, DxS not only cements their place as a compelling new sub-unit but also delivers an emotional journey that resonates deeply with fans, leaving listeners eager for what comes next.
