SEVENTEEN are back as thirteen again.

In an official announcement dated 23 February, agency PLEDIS Entertainment announced that the group’s leader S.Coups and vocal team member Jeonghan have been given the all-clear by medical professionals to resume their scheduled activities since suffering injuries last year. This includes the forthcoming FOLLOW AGAIN encore shows set to kick off in Incheon, South Korea at the end of March (30 to 31/3).

S.Coups and Jeonghan have been receiving post-surgery care and rehabilitation for the ACL tear and ankle injuries they sustained in August and December 2023, respectively.

“As a result of receiving constant care and taking sufficient rest, both artists have made a noticeable recovery. They have been cleared by medical professionals to resume their scheduled activities as long as they avoid straining their bodies,” said PLEDIS’s notice.

This means that after missing much of the FOLLOW tour in 2023 as it went through Japan, Thailand, the Philippines and Macao, SEVENTEEN's two senior members can join the rest onstage, but within reasonable limits.

“The extent to which they participate in certain stages or events may be limited, in order to prevent straining their injured areas,” PLEDIS explained. They added that the two will be receiving regular check-ups as they carry on and thanked the fans, CARATs, for the support throughout their road to recovery.

“I know you’ll love me even if I’m not in perfect form,” wrote S.Coups on Weverse after the announcement. “Let’s hurry up a little in bouncing back. I’ll slowly and little by little show you a lot of things. Thank you for waiting.” (완벽하지 않은 모습도 사랑해줄 것을 알기에, 조금 서둘러서 복귀 해봅니다. 천천히 조금씩 많은 모습 보여줄게요. 기다려줘서 고마워요.)

SEVENTEEN are set to bring their FOLLOW tour back to South Korea and Japan, with stops in Incheon, Osaka (18 and 19 May), and Kanagawa’s Nissan Stadium (25 and 26 May).

Hello.
This is PLEDIS Entertainment.

We would like to provide an update on SEVENTEEN members S.COUPS and JEONGHAN and their resumption of activities.

S.COUPS and JEONGHAN have been receiving post-surgery care since their surgeries for knee and ankle injuries in August and December of last year, respectively.

As a result of receiving constant care and taking sufficient rest, both artists have made a noticeable recovery. They have been cleared by medical professionals to resume their scheduled activities as long as they avoid straining their bodies.

As such, S.COUPS and JEONGHAN will participate in SEVENTEEN’s activities starting March, including the SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN TO INCHEON, all the while receiving regular medical check-ups. However, the extent to which they participate in certain stages or events may be limited, in order to prevent straining their injured areas. We ask for your generous understanding.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the fans for supporting the recovery of S.COUPS and JEONGHAN. The company will continue to place the utmost priority on the health of our artists and do our best to support the artists’ recovery, ensuring they can return to their fans in good health.

Thank you.
