Following the release of the electrifying World Cup 2026 anthem 'Dai Dai', Shakira and Burna Boy unveil the star-studded music video to accompany the track.

Directed by Hannah Lux Davis, the video opens with a cast of soccer legends. Having been featured in 2010's 'Waka Waka' music video, Lionel Messi joins other trailblazers such as Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé, Rodrigo Hernández, Vinícius Júnior, Takefusa Kubo, Santiago Giménez, Erling Haaland, Luis Díaz, Alphonso Davies, Jamal Musiala and Christian Pulisic 16 years later for 'Dai Dai'.

The video opens with Mbappé confidently declaring his readiness for the exciting series of games ahead as he says, "Shakira, we are ready".The video also features Ghetto Kids Uganda, an inspiring NGO that empowers orphaned and vulnerable children through music, dance, and drama, with the children excitedly exclaiming that “they are ready too.”

Shakira proudly stands atop Mexico's Angel de la Independencia, which has played a big role in the City’s history. By featuring the landmark in the video, she pays homage to a city that has had a big hand in leading Shakira onto the path she has forged today. Blending the empowering lyrics with the addictive beats, 'Dai Dai' is another monumental hit World Cup anthem under Shakira's belt.

As Shakira gears up to perform the explosive anthem alongside Burna Boy during the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show on 19 July with fellow global superstars Madonna and BTS, the music video further amplifies the excitement surrounding this year’s tournament. Combining football icons, uplifting storytelling, and electrifying energy, 'Dai Dai' cements itself as another unforgettable World Cup anthem in Shakira’s legacy.
